Cancellation Policy

General Appointment Cancellation & No Show Policy

We understand that there are times when you must miss an appointment due to emergencies or obligations for work or family. However, when you do not contact to cancel an appointment within a reasonable time frame, you may be preventing another patient from getting much needed treatment. Conversely, the situation may arise where another patient fails to cancel and we are unable to schedule you for a visit, due to a seemingly ‘full’ appointment book.

If an appointment is not cancelled at least 24 hours in advance you will be charged a twenty-dollar ($20) fee; this will not be covered by your insurance company.

Compassion Pass

We offer all patients ONE compassion pass that allows them to use under their discretion. If the cancellation policy is not adhered to and you would like to use your compassion pass, this can be implemented, and no fee will be charged.

Payment

It is expected that the cancellation fee will be paid via credit card over the phone. If this cannot be achieved then an outstanding account will be applied to your account for future payment.

We understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise, and we strive to approach each situation with compassion and understanding. Clients facing exceptional circumstances that prevent them from adhering to the 24-hour notice requirement are encouraged to reach out to our office as soon as possible. Our team will review such cases on an individual basis, and under certain circumstances, may waive the cancellation fee.
