Simone
Remedial Massage Therapist
Completed my Certificate IV and Diploma of Remedial Massage in Sydney at the NSW School of Massage. I worked as a Massage Therapist for 8+ years in a variety of settings in the Southern Highlands, from running a Massage business to working in Day Spas, Health retreats and offering Massage services at local sporting events.
Sport was always a huge part of my life growing up, representing NSW in Hockey and Touch Football. But nowadays, I enjoy challenging myself in other ways, such as raising money for charities by taking part in different events or fundraisers. I have raised funds for Black Dog Institute, Push for Better and MND Australia.
After moving to Tumut, I continued to work within the health field; a Nursing Assistant at BUPA and a Allied Health Assistant at Tumut Hospital as part of the Wagga Wagga Ambulatory Rehabilitation Service (Outreach). The door has now opened to become part of an amazing health service and team – Healthklinix!
I have a passion in life to help improve the health and well-being of others, on many levels – Physically, Emotionally and Mentally – this is extremely important to me as a professional and in life generally, and I believe Massage is one of the greatest ways to achieve this.
I have just graduated from Charles Sturt University with a Diploma of Health Science (Mental Health). I look forward to continue to grow developing my skills as a professional to provide the community with the best possible service I can, so I can walk beside you and guide you, as you improve your health and well-being.
