Madeleine

Exercise Physiologist

Maddy is an ESSA Accredited Exercise Physiologist. She completed a Bachelor of Exercise and Sport Science in 2019, and a Master of Clinical Exercise Physiology in 2021 at Federation University. Being Ballarat born and bred, Maddy is heavily involved in a number of local clubs and organisations and has been a passionate player and coach at a local cricket club. Maddy is also a supervisor of the student-led Exercise Physiology Clinic at Federation University, helping to equip the current Exercise Physiology students to be competent, client-oriented future practitioners.

Being a firm believer in the philosophy that ‘exercise is for everyone’, Maddy understands the importance of an individual being able to find their ‘why’ for living a physically active lifestyle. She considers the physical, psychological, and social needs and goals of each individual in order to achieve the best possible outcomes for her clients. Through assessments, exercise prescription and review consultations, Maddy seeks to prescribe and deliver exercise that is both enjoyable and beneficial for the client.

Maddy is passionate about using exercise to treat and manage all kinds of health conditions and injuries. She is particularly interested in the treatment of cancer, musculoskeletal conditions, and metabolic conditions such as diabetes, and loves working with individuals of any age, background or ability.
